FOREVER LONGING

In my heart...I am seeking the path...that leads deep into the forest...deep into my own heart...for trees still grow there...and have never been cut down, never by my own hand...but that of man...the pain of which still echoes in my eyes. If you look deep enough...and your heart is still alive...you might behold it for yourself...and turn away in fear...for it is not for all to embrace pain...and we all have enough of our own anyway...

I seek the path that leads deep into the forest...where the trees grow so high..that I can see no tall buildings anymore...where I can live my life with the natural rhythms of the seasons and nature..that beats in my heart and always has...for the day that remains...afore I enter night to kiss the face of the moon that kept me company all these years...

`Thanks for sharing Raven,its good to read one of your works again.its something i have greatly missed over the last year.Its strange,how even though I was "with " someone I felt longing for this place,but could not return because of the discord it brought to him...i was isolated from those who stuck by me,who had proven themselves again and again to be true friends... in this case...its good to be without instead of "with" funny how for so many years i was wihtout a someone and did fine.a year with someone and it had me afraid to be alone,afraid to try to make ends meet on my own. i have been pushed of the edge of alone and my spirit is keeping me aloft....all by myself. smiles! /Met...
